A question awaiting answer...

A decision making question. All those who read should comment your answers. Please!!!

You are working in an institution which has a provision to give you paid leave for education. But you have to execute a bond for this leave that you will rejoin immediately after course and will not resign before 3 years of service after education.
The bond condition you can see that is of good faith that if we pay you during leave you have to pay us back with added knowledge you get through education.
If you violate bond you will have to repay salary of the period with interest.
After education, you feel you can contribute better to society in some other ways. What will you do?
1. Wait for three years to get over and resign.
2. Resign and pay the penalty.
3. Work for an year. Then take a payless leave for 2 yeers and then resign after completion of bond period. Now use excuse of 3 year as an argument not to pay back.
4. Other options...

What will you choose (including any other suggestions you can find.)?
Why?
Explain the options and decision in detail.
